In addition to representing individual consumers and businesses in bankruptcy, Steve regularly represents bankruptcy trustees and is sought after for representation in large or complex cases. One year, he alone filed one-third of all Chapter 12 (agricultural reorganization) cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Michigan.
He has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcies more than any attorney in Western Michigan. Steve has personally represented over 2,000 people in their individual debt consolidation matters. He is the only attorney in Western Michigan to be certified by the American Board of Certification in both consumer and business bankruptcy. Unlike most bankruptcy attorneys, who tend to specialize in either consumer or commercial practice, Steve has extensive experience in both. Over the past four decades, Steve has become one of Michigan’s leading specialists in bankruptcy and reorganization. In 1988, Steve decided to start his own firm in order to focus on the representation of debtors in bankruptcy and reorganization. Steve spent the first several years of his legal career representing secured creditors, mortgage holders, and other lenders in bankruptcy and reorganization matters. I wonder how many times customers have sat in the waiting area for hours but their invoice says they have only been there for an hour or two. If they want proof the manager to need rewind the camera, this was utterly ridiculous. It this the common practice of the dealership to have customers sitting almost 8 hours for basic service but the tech lies on the paperwork about competition time. The last time I came in for an oil change was early in the morning I sat there for 4 hours but the tech put on the paperwork that I basically there for an hour. What made me even more upset is that the tech put on my Invoice that everything was completed by 12:24 pm and it was clearly not. My vehicle was brought around at 5: 30 pm so I was quite upset that was 7 ½ hours for me to leave. So many other customers came and left while I was still sitting in the waiting room. I patiently waited and at 3:50 pm I asked for another status I was told the same thing.
#STEVE RAYMAN UPDATE#
At 2: 30 pm I asked for a status update my service advisor called and he was told that it was being worked on and it should not be much longer. So, I was looking for my vehicle to be finished at least by 1:00 or 1:30 pm. Around 11:10 am my service advisor informed me that the oil change was completed but I needed front and rear brakes I told him that was fine to replace them I was already here, I was told I should take 1 ½ hour to 2 hours. I was told by my service advisor that there will be a bit of a wait as there were several customers that were ahead of me for the same thing That was fine because there is always a bit of a wait at the dealership. I was told by my service advisor that there will be a bit department a little after 10 am for an oil change with a tire rotation on my Silverado Z71.
On March 29, 2021, I arrived at Steve Rayman's service department a little after 10 am for an oil change with a tire rotation on my Silverado Z71.
